Together with the audience, they will follow the traces of the famous Battle of Aspern-Essling, Napoleon&#8217;s first military defeat.\u00a0The walk will be musically accompanied by sound artist Christian Schr\u00f6der.<\/p>\n<p>A dramaturgically staged path across the former battle site leads from the new center of the Seestadt across wasteland and relics of old airstrips, through a memorial grove and thicket across open fields, to finally end at the so-called\u00a0<i>Sch\u00fcttkasten<\/i>, formerly a granary and now home to a Napoleon memorial museum.\u00a0<i>Verwilderung<\/i>\u00a0(feral, overgrowth) invites us to leave behind the present, this staged architectural and natural landscape, and sets off in the direction of an overgrown and forgotten zone.
